Poppy arrived with us as an 8 week old puppy at the end of May 2014. She quickly took a liking for tennis balls and as her training progressed she also improved her recalls and retrieves. She was successful in joining Bassett's as a starter dog in September 2015. During the winter and spring when not seeking 'Spaniel cuddles' or rolling on her back for a tummy rub she soon got the hang of the basics and with the help and encouragement of all the Bassett handlers she has come along in leaps and bounds. Poppy loves being part of a team and although quite laid back she is not put off by those noisy and excitable Collies and Jack Russell's. She made her open debut at the beginning of June 2016 and we are both looking forward to many years of Flyball fun together.
